About the Instructor

David Crippen is a Technical Trainer at Dorman Training Center, bringing extensive experience in the automotive industry and technical education.

Holding an ASE L1 Advanced Engine Performance certification, David has an Associate Degree in Automotive Technology and a Bachelor Degree in Industrial Education. He has worked as a Ford/Lincoln/Mercury technician, a high school auto shop teacher, community college teacher and CA BAR Smog Instructor.

He has worked as a trainer for Allen Test Products, Mitchell International, Snap-on Tools, Vetronix and Robert Bosch. As an applications engineer, he worked for Edge Diagnostic Systems (Simutech).

By combining his diverse experience, practical insight and educational/training background, David is a wealth of knowledge on all things automotive.
