In an era of over-the-air updates and frequent recalls, this webinar guides technicians on how to access and apply the latest service information. Techs will learn the importance of performing ECM/PCM software updates and the various methods available to do so. In addition, techs will learn to check NHTSA for recalls and to navigate aftermarket and OEM databases for Technical Service Bulletins to ensure accurate diagnostics and complete repairs. The class will cover tools such as J2534 devices and OEM portals to ensure compliance and optimal vehicle performance. The class will explore how updates address common issues such as drivability and emissions problems. Through examples, understand the impact of ignoring TSBs and best documentation practices. This session enhances shop efficiency, reducing liability and comebacks.
